Not as good as old ultra pro sleeves for Magic Feb 23, 2012 By Samuel
I've used ultra pro sleeves for Magic cards for a while. Apparently they've changed the size on them now- they are smaller so that the cards are more snug. I really don't like this change, since it takes longer to sleeve and unsleeve, whereas with the old sleeves it went much faster. This isn't much of a problem for Constructed tournaments, but it's irritating in Limited (sealed and Draft), where you are constantly sleeving and unsleeving.

There is nothing really wrong with this product yet, since I haven't used them that long. However, my only gripe is that on the package, just like the 5 color ones I bought made by Ultro-Pro, it states 100 count sleeves. After sleeving a couple of my decks that are 100 cards total, I've discovered that there were only 99 sleeves. I counted the other ones I ordered. Also 99 sleeves. This is really annoying because now I have to order extra just to sleeve the 100th card in two of my decks. The other ones I'm not worrying about because those decks have maybe 80 or less cards in each, so not having 100 sleeves is fine there.

Other than that, the quality of the sleeves seem decent, but this can just serve as a warning to any buying these sleeves for decks with 100 cards in them. I will attempt to contact Ultra-Pro about these to see if they can amend this somehow.

I purchased these, with hope that some of these reviews were not true, and they weren't. People say that the sticker blocks the power/tuffness..but it doesn't. I love these sleeves!
The back part has a certain texture to it that makes the card not as slippery as other sleeves; which is awesome.
The only reason I put 3/5 stars on durability is because, like all card sleeves, they aren't that durable... especially the way I shuffle my card so harshly.

It is a good quality card sleeve but I had a small problem with the logo I didn't realize it was on the front of the sleeve so it actually blocks one of the main features of the particular playing card I use them for but other than that they are good

The sleeves are great, they're a tad bit more snug than my other sleeves, but I prefer them this way, they keep the card much more secure. They are a great price for the amount you get.
