318 lands, 0 islands, 0 forests. 153 plains, 83 mountains, 82 swamps.
It's a shame I have to rate this so low, because getting a box of high quality lands with artwork from all across Magic's history is really fun. It was nice of them to put in extra lands, and searching through them I found (and in some cases was introduced to) a lot of great art, including a few full-art Zendikar mountains.
5 stars, -1 for the lack of islands, -1 for the lack of forests, -1 for lying in the description. Troll and Toad referred me to Amazon, and they gave me a $5 partial refund - but I'd rather have the forests.
UPDATE 4/25: I just received a surprise package of forests and islands (>100 each), all in great condition with good artwork. I assume Troll and Toad have restocked, and am moving my review from 2 to 4 stars.

Unless you've been into the game and buying for a good while you probably ran into the same problem I did pretty quickly. I had all sorts of awesome cards and several deck ideas, but not all that much land to help round out the decks. Thankfully, there is this decent lump of basic lands to solve the problem. It is a bit pricey, my only reason for not giving it 5 stars. But if you're new to the game or returning after years away and you sold all your old cards (I still kick myself for that), well, here you are.

Lands... Lands alright, but with a bit of twist on what's promised. Aug 25, 2010

First and foremost, I ordered from Troll & Toad.
These lands come from *various* sets. From Mirage,Tempest,Alpha/Beta, all the way to Shards of Alara and more recent ones...
Here's what I got:
70 Mountains
67 Islands
92 Forests
28 Plains
47 Swamps
1 Faith's Fetters
1 Smoldering Crater
1 Muddle the Mixture
1 Dimir Aqueduct (yay)
Yes, that's more than 300 cards.
The number of plains were disappointing though; I'm happy with Mountains, Islands, and Swamps but...
There's simply too much forests and too few plains D:
With that fact, the price could've been better, but this still is an overall good pack to buy for MTG players.
The cards were also near mint and some completely mint. but they were definitely used- some had those weird kind-of invisible smudges of dirty stuff w/e.
And only a couple were just simple dirty.

This is better than advertised. It says 300 assorted lands, but i got exactly, perfectly seperated, 60 of each land. Exactly what I needed to help build more decks. I actually bought 2 and they were both exactly the same. Nice assortments of different artwork, perfect condition lands. Bravo
